Wedding Videographer in Hollywood, FL: The 2026 Guide

Hollywood sits in the part of Broward that couples tend to underestimate. In ten minutes you can move from an oceanfront resort corridor on the Broadwalk, to a walkable downtown around Young Circle and the ArtsPark, to quiet water and old trees in Hollywood Lakes, with the Guitar Hotel lit up on the horizon inland. That range is an advantage on camera. It is also the reason a Hollywood wedding day can come back looking like four unrelated videos if nobody planned the coverage before the day started.

We are Live Global Studios, a full service production company based in Miami Beach with our own studio at 420 Lincoln Road called The Chat Room. Hollywood is a short run north on I-95, close enough that we scout in person rather than guessing from photos, and close enough that we know how the light behaves on that stretch of beach in June versus January. Every booking includes a director, a DP, an audio engineer, and a producer. That crew structure is not a package upgrade. It is the reason the film holds up a decade later.

What a Hollywood wedding actually looks like on camera

The Diplomat Beach Resort is the anchor venue in this market, and it hands us two very different problems inside one property. The ballrooms have height and controlled light, so we can shoot clean and move fast without fighting the room. The oceanfront lawn has wind coming straight off the Atlantic, and wind ruins wedding audio faster than anything else on a beach day. That is why we never put one lavalier on a groom’s lapel and call the vows covered. We run a lav, a shotgun on a boom, and a feed off the house board, then choose the cleanest source in post.

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort gives you color, movement, and a crowd, and the Broadwalk immediately outside is the best twenty minute golden hour walk in Broward if you build it into the timeline instead of hoping for it. Hollywood Lakes estate weddings and backyard receptions are the opposite assignment. Those are lighting jobs. We arrive earlier, we build the light into a space that has almost none after sunset, and the reception footage comes back looking intentional instead of orange.

The crew that shows up

Adding a camera does not fix a weak wedding film. What fixes it is having someone on site whose only job is watching the story instead of watching an exposure meter. That is the director. The DP protects the image: frame, movement, and how the room is actually lit. The audio engineer owns vows, speeches, and the officiant, which is the material couples rewatch most and the material nobody can recover if it was captured badly. The producer runs the clock, talks to your planner, and keeps us ahead of the timeline so no one is chasing the day.

That is four people minimum, plus additional operators and a drone pilot depending on the property. It is a different operating model than one person with two camera bodies, and the difference is audible in the first ninety seconds of the film.

What it costs in 2026

Wedding films in South Florida sort into three honest bands. A single shooter working limited hours and delivering a short highlight generally runs $2,500 to $4,500, and that is a real option for a small ceremony without reception coverage. Full day coverage with a proper crew, multiple audio sources, drone, and both a highlight film and a longer documentary edit generally lands between $6,000 and $12,000 in this market. Multi day celebrations with welcome events, several locations, and a same day edit played at the reception run higher, often $15,000 and up, because you are staffing more shooting days and an editor working on site.

If someone quotes a full Diplomat wedding at $1,200, they are either brand new or sending one camera. Neither is automatically wrong. It becomes a problem when a couple assumes a crew and a deliverable list that were never in the agreement. Ask what is written down.

Drone, permits, and the Hollywood specifics

Hollywood Beach sits close enough to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International that much of the oceanfront falls inside controlled airspace. Legal drone work there requires an FAA Part 107 certificated pilot and airspace authorization, which we request in advance instead of on the morning of the wedding. Our pilots are Part 107 certificated and we carry the insurance venues ask for. The city also requires permits for commercial production on public property, including sections of the Broadwalk and city parks, so we confirm current requirements with the city and the venue during pre production and put the answer in writing.

None of that should land on you. It belongs to the producer, and it is included.

Deliverables and timeline

Most Hollywood couples end up with the same stack. A three to six minute highlight film, a fifteen to twenty five minute documentary edit, full length ceremony and speeches with clean audio, a set of vertical cuts for social, and a sixty second teaser delivered within about a week so there is something to share while the full film is still in post. Color grading and sound work happen on every deliverable, not only the highlight. Full delivery generally lands eight to twelve weeks after the wedding, faster outside peak season.

We also shoot engagement films, welcome parties, and next day brunches for couples building a full weekend, and we edit those as one connected story rather than four separate videos.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should we book a wedding videographer in Hollywood? Six to twelve months for peak dates between October and May. Diplomat and Margaritaville weekends go first.

Do you cover Hollywood if we also have events in Miami or Boca Raton? Yes. We work the full corridor from Palm Beach to Miami, and multi location weekends are a normal part of what we plan for.

Can we get the raw footage? We deliver the ceremony and speeches uncut with clean audio, plus every edited film. We do not hand over unsorted camera cards, because ungraded files without sound work are not usable and do not represent the work.

Do you coordinate with our photographer? Yes, and we prefer to talk before the day. Video and photo compete for the same twenty minutes at sunset, and that gets solved in a ten minute call rather than on the beach.
