Fashion Video Production in Miami

Fashion is a visual language, and Miami speaks it louder than almost any city in the country. Hard sun, saturated color, art deco facades, open water, and a street culture that treats getting dressed as a daily performance. A fashion film shot here has a built-in advantage. The question is whether the production around it is strong enough to use that advantage well.

Most fashion content fails for a simple reason. It shows the clothes but never builds a world around them. At Live Global Studios, we start with the story the collection is telling, then design the shots, the casting, the movement, and the edit to carry that story. Every project at our Miami Beach home base is staffed with a director, a director of photography, an audio engineer, and a producer, because fashion work lives or dies on the details nobody sees.

What a fashion video actually needs

A lookbook video, a campaign film, and a social launch are three different jobs. A lookbook film is clean and product forward, built to show fit, fabric, and movement. A campaign film is mood first, with a point of view that makes the brand feel like a place people want to belong to. A social launch is a set of short cuts built for vertical viewing, where the first second decides everything.

We plan all three from one shoot whenever the budget allows. That means shooting 16:9 hero frames, 9:16 vertical coverage, and detail inserts of stitching, hardware, and texture in the same day. One production, many outputs, and no footage left unused.

Where we shoot in Miami

Location is half the creative decision. For swimwear and resort collections, the beaches and pool decks of South Beach and Mid Beach give you that unmistakable warm light, especially in the first and last ninety minutes of the day. For streetwear and contemporary labels, Wynwood walls and the industrial blocks around them give texture and attitude. For tailored and luxury lines, the Design District’s architecture and the quiet streets of Coral Gables give a cleaner, more composed frame.

When the weather or the permit calendar does not cooperate, The Chat Room on Lincoln Road gives us four sets to work with. A controlled studio is the fastest way to get consistent color, repeatable lighting, and clean product coverage. We often split a fashion shoot between a studio morning and a location afternoon, which gives the edit both polish and atmosphere.

Casting, styling, and movement

Fashion film is a performance medium. The best footage comes from models and talent who know how to move for a moving camera, not just pose for a still one. We help source talent, coordinate with stylists and makeup artists, and direct movement so garments read properly in motion. Fabric catches wind, light, and speed differently than a still frame ever shows, and we plan for that.

Directing nonprofessional talent is a skill too. Many Miami designers appear in their own films, and we know how to put founders at ease so the result feels natural rather than staged.

Post-production is where the look gets finished

Color grading is the difference between a fashion film and a video of clothes. We grade for skin tone first, then protect the true color of the garments, because a dress that shows up teal on screen when it is emerald in the box causes returns. Sound design and music selection finish the mood. We handle licensing so the final film is cleared for paid placement, not just organic posting.

Typical investment

Fashion production has a wide range, and we would rather be honest than vague. A single-day social shoot with a small crew and one model usually falls between 3,500 and 7,500 dollars. A full campaign film with casting, styling coordination, multiple looks, and a layered edit generally runs from 10,000 to 30,000 dollars. Larger multi-day productions with drone work, additional locations, or a bigger cast move higher. We scope each project around what the film needs to accomplish, not around a template.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should we book a fashion shoot in Miami?

Plan on three to four weeks for a standard shoot and six to eight weeks for a larger campaign. Peak season from November through April fills quickly, and beach location permits take time.

Can you shoot photos and video on the same day?

We can capture video and coordinate stills so both teams share the same sets, lighting, and styling. This saves a full day of production and keeps the look consistent across channels.

Do you provide models and stylists?

We help source and coordinate talent, stylists, and makeup artists from the South Florida market, or we work with your preferred team. Casting is part of our pre-production process.

What do we receive at the end?

Typically a hero film, a set of vertical cutdowns for Instagram and TikTok, detail clips, and a library of graded footage. We scope the exact deliverables before the shoot so the plan matches your launch calendar.
